Joaquin Miller Park

Oakland's Joaquin Miller Park features extensive trails for hiking and biking. Key trails include Big Trees, Orchards, Sequoia Bayview, Fern Ravine, Sunset, and Wild Rose – the Wild Rose Trail is the steepest. Pathways are shaded through the forest and there are downloadable maps for easy navigation. Lookout Point provides panoramic views of the surrounding area. The meadow is suitable for kite flying. Dogs are permitted on leash, with designated off-leash areas available. Amenities include picnic tables and public restrooms. Parking is provided in a lot by the amphitheater and along roadsides.
